Last Three Characters:   Denote a specific hybrid family or series: ie., a 603 hybrid family or series may be available in several different technology versions.

Last Two Characters:   Denote the relative maturity as established in maturity zone 5; i.e., "03" indicates a relative maturity of 103 days, while an "98" would indicate 98 days.  Additions or subtractions based on latitude (actual zone) may be required to determine the CRM for other zones.

Suffix: The suffix behind the hybrid name may be required by some technology providers and summarizes the information described by the first 2 characters of the hybrid name.

GT: 
Agrisure® GT (GA 21 event) provides exceptional tolerance to in-crop applications of glyphosate-based herbicides and up to 5.6 bpa over conventional herbicide programs.

CB/LL:
Agrisure® CB/LL (Bt11 event) hybrids that are fully exportable and deliver a gain of 5.25 bpa from Liberty® tolerance and 7 bpa from Agrisure Corn Borer technology.

GT/CB/LL:
These Agrisure® stacks combine Agrisure® GT for exceptional tolerance to in-crop applicatioins of glyphosate-based herbicides, season long control of corn borer and Liberty® herbicide tolerance.

CB/LL/RW:   
These Agrisure® triples are CB/LL hybrids that add 5.25 bpa from Liberty® tolerance, 7 bpa from Agrisure Corn Borer technology and the best-in-class performance of Agrisure RW.

GT/CB/LL/RW:  
Syngenta's "quad stack" delivering major yield enhancements from above and below ground insect protection as well as the full flexibility of using either Liberty® or Glyphosate herbicides.

LL: 
LibertyLink® (event T-25) hybrids provide tolerance to glufosinate-ammonium contained in Ignite® and Liberty® post-emergence contact herbicides providing the only nonselective alternative to glyphosate. This combination has delivered up to 5.6 bpa more yield than conventional programs while controlling more than 120 grass and broadleaf weeds including cocklerbur, woolly cupgrass, lambsquarters, waterhemp, foxtail and velvetleaf.

HX/LL:  
Herculex® 1/LibertyLink® (TC1507 event) hybrids providing Bt with western bean cutworm, corn borer and black cutworm protection, and an average yield increase of over 12 bpa from the combination of Ignite® tolerance and insect protection.

HXT/LL:  
Herculex® XTRA is a three-way, above- and below-ground stack with the broadest spectrum, in-plant protection available in corn today. it creates an excellent corn on corn option for Midwest farmers by combining protection against corn rootworm, corn borers, black cutworm and western bean cutworm with Ignite® tolerance.

RR2/HX: 
Roundup Ready®/ Herculex® 1 hybrids combining western bean cutworm, corn borer and black cutworm protection with a 12 bpa yield gain from the combination of Ignite® or Roundup® herbicide tolerance and insect protection.

RR2/HXT:  
Herculex® XTRA is a three-way, above- and below-ground stack with the broadest-spectrum, in-plant protection available in corn today.  It creates an excellent corn on corn option for Midwest farmers by combining protection against corn rootworm, corn borers, black cutworm and western bean cutworm with Ignite® and Roundup Herbicide tolerance.

RR2:  
Roundup Ready® Corn 2 (NK603 Event) hybrids that deliver simple, cost effective and unsurpassed weed control and up to 5.6 bpa over conventioinal herbicide programs.

YGCB:  
YieldGard® Corn Borer hybrids that provide season-long control of ECB, SWCB and Southern stalk borer, as well as moderate resistance to corn ear worm and fall armyworm.  These hybrids deliver an average yield gain of 7 bpa.

RR2/YGCB:  
Roundup Ready® Corn 2/YieldGard® Corn Borer hybrids that provide up to a 5.6 bpa yield gain over conventional herbicide programs and average yield gain of 7 bpa from the YieldGard® corn borer protection.

YGRW:  
YieldGard® Rootworm hybrids for corn rootworm protection in the seed and an 8-10 bpa average yield advantage over the leading insecticides.

RR2/YGRW: 
Roundup Ready® Corn 2/YieldGard® Rootworm stacked hybrids offer an average 8-10 bpa advantage over the leading insecticides and up to a 5.6 bpa yield gain over conventional herbcide programs.

YGPL: 
YieldGard® Rootworm/ YieldGard® Corn  Borer stacked hybrids offer an average 8-10 bpa advantage over the leading insecticides plus a 7 bpa yield gain from YieldGard® Corn Borer.

RR2/YGPL:  
Powerful Roundup Ready® Corn 2/YieldGard® Rootworm/YieldGard® Corn Borer triple stack hybrids with all the  yield enhancements of insect and weed control traits in one seed.

RR2/LFY:   
Roundup Ready® Corn 2/Leafy hybrids bred for improved fiber digestibility as well as softer cobs, kernels and increased tonnage.

VTRR2/LFY:  
These Roundup® Ready Corn 2/Rootworm/LFY hybrids combine Monsanto's powerful new VecTran® Corn 2 technology with the Leafy trait for improved fiber digestibility as well as softer cobs, kernels and increased tonnage.

VTRR2:  
These Roundup Ready® Corn 2/Rootworm hybrids are developed using Monsanto's powerful new VecTran® technology and contain a highly active, more consistent promoter of the rootworm gene that deliversw approximately 10% additional improvement in consistency by contrast to first generation rootworm products.

VT3:   
The next generation of YieldGard® stacked-trait hybrids with all the new insect and weed control traits in one seed and developed using Monsanto's powerful new VecTran® technology.
Clearfield (IMI):   Clearfield® (IMI) hybrids offer "non-transgenic" herbicide tolerance to imidazolinone herbicides and were originally introduced to manage herbicide carryover of Pursuit® or Scepter®. Today, products such as Lightning® can be applied directly to the CL (IMI) hybrids for additional weed management options.
