In 2008, NuTech Seed managers, dealers and customers planted G.E.N.I.E (Genotypic Environmental Interaction Evaluation) Research Plots in 12 states across our marketing area (see above map). This testing system provides critical information and insight we need to ensure that our customers are able to go to the field with nothing less than the best genetics money can buy. The information collected from these G.E.N.I.E. plots assists us in determining future releases as well as understanding specific environmental or regional genetic predispositions of select hybrids or heterotic groups. With this information we are able to make recommendations to our customers to provide them with the best hybrids for their farms.
